Explore Planet Wortschatz
Planet Wortschatz offers a German-speaking virtual community for children ages 6-12 living abroad. Your child will participate in an online workshop that will not only improve their German language skills, but will tap into their creativity using an interdisciplinary approach.
One highlight of Planet Wortschatz is a virtual classroom where children meet weekly in small groups. These live sessions are accompanied by visual and listing exercises, workshops and games for home, aimed at supporting intercultural families in adding German culture and language to their children' lives.

The online German course with Planet Wortschatz is great. We play games and learn about different topics, like the sea, the planets, etc., and it's all in German! Every time it is adventurous and I look forward to the learning session with Iris.
It was a very positive experience and exceeded our expectations. The preparation materials for the lessons are fun, with great videos and fun songs. We have looked forward to the lessons every week. The assignments are also very creative and the kids are already looking forward to next year!

Planet Wortschatz is quite nice because Iris' videos teach me quite a lot: History, myths and exciting experiments. Iris, the "teacher", has a lot of patience with us children when we play a game or do an activity.
My two boys have already done several courses with Iris, they can hardly wait until the next class starts again. The progress in the German language is very great. As a mother, I appreciate the great topics and the structure of the courses. I also enjoy working with them every week before the next class. Iris' courses are an enrichment, I can highly recommend them.
